Join us for an evening of poetry reading!
Village Church is a proud sponsor of this year’s Woodland Patterns Poetry in the Park with the opening reading on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30 pm at the Solomon Juneau statue at 900 N. Prospect Ave! Bob Hanson from our Outreach Team has taken the lead in reaching out to this constituency in the arts community!
Bring your blankets and chairs, snacks and drinks for an evening of poetry. Poetry will also be shared on July 12, August 9, September 13. Same time, same park.
Four poets are featured on June 14 and all have published works, several are college professors; one is an active volunteer in the local Hunger Task Force and a member of Autism Speaks (being the father of an autistic child ).
