Interchange Food Pantry Song for January 2013

Lovely Clementines
(to the tune of “My Darling Clementine”)

At a corner, down on Juneau,
There’s a pantry, oh so fine.
Every Tuesday . . . every Wednesday,
We can see our friends in line.

They need apples, they need oranges,
Maybe juicy clementines,
Fresh tomatoes, corn and carrots,
Tasty grapes right from the vine.

“Can we help them?” “What is needed?”
All these things you may opine.
Share some dollars or some coins now,
If you find you’re so inclined.

At the pantry down on Juneau,
You will hear the voices chime,
“Many thanks now and God bless you!
We have food on which to dine.”
